Winter Portrait

This is from a photo set taken the day after a blizzard came through. I decided to take a straight on shot of Laura and to my amazement, came out better than I planned. I don't know why but, there's something about this picture, and the way she looks, that easily makes this pic one of my all-time faves.

It's a pretty normal shot but that's just it.....it's subtlety is what I think is all the more alluring to me. Her facial features seem to stand out at me more because of the amount of natural lighting we had that day.
